Having ourselves hired holiday homes for a number of years, we feel this villa is a bit different from the average - we hope that after looking at the pictures (follow the links above) you'll see what we mean !

The villa, whilst providing modern comforts, is undoubtedly French in style and location !

It can comfortably accommodate 2 - 6 people - in 2 or 3 bedrooms - so everyone can have their own bedroom, without the need for anyone to sleep in the living room (as you'll find elsewhere !).

Recently redecorated, the villa consists of :

All on ground floor :

	living/dining room : with double doors opening onto terrace, sofa and chairs, CD/radio/cassette player, dining table and chairs & log burner
	kitchen area : tucked away around a corner of the living/dining room, the modern fitted and well equipped kitchen includes 4 ring gas hob, electric oven, fridge, washing machine, microwave and breakfast bar
	two double bedrooms : one with a double bed, one with 2 single beds
	a separate additional sitting room (or 3rd bedroom) : with a double sofa-bed, TV (with UK satellite & French terrestrial channels)/video (dual standard PAL/SECAM) and double doors opening onto the terrace
	bathroom and separate WC : bath with wall mounted shower attachment

and outside :

your own large terrace, on 3 sides of the villa giving you cool shade at the front, views at the side and a sun trap at the back !

the villa and its garden are completely detached and for your use only

although there is no swimming pool at the villa (as reflected in the value-for-money price !), you're within 10 minutes of an outdoor public swimming pool at Mirambeau, 20 minutes of "Les Antilles de Jonzac" and 30 minutes of a nice beach at Meschers

and if you have young children and are worried about safety : the absence of a pool can be a real advantage from the safety point of view. There's no other pool, pond or lake in the immediate area around the villa, and the garden is completely enclosed !

and the ever popular "finishing touches" :

	with your confirmation letter, you'll get copies of our colour brochure (with illustrated map of places to visit etc.) and our information booklet - with everything from our favourite places to eat and drink, to the all important opening times of local supermarkets - and of course maps and directions for getting to the villa !
	and waiting for you when you arrive :
	fresh flowers to gladden the eye, and a bottle of wine to gladden the throat !
	an abundance of up to date tourist maps, guides and leaflets - carefully organised to make it easy to find just what you want
	the villa's Information Folder with details of everything from the latest weather forecast, times of local markets, list of videos available to borrow and information about how to use all the villa's facilities - from the washing machine to the garden lights !

The villa and its garden are completely detached and self contained. There is no other accommodation on site - but the managing agents Martin and Chris are just along the road in the next hamlet, if you need any information or help.

We're ashamed to say that some of the internal doors are too narrow for wheelchairs to get through. Otherwise, all accommodation is on the ground floor, the house is easily accessible from the terrace which is almost at ground level at the back, and the facilities are quite accessible for people with mobility difficulties.
